@ CluckCraft did u entable (added an smtp info) the SMTP feature? ( not that i need ti do that but i did add my gmail smtp info into there).

@ Dave i didnt even get am email from u. The last i heard feo u was that u got The ftp info and that it works and that u was con a let me know when u has a chance to check it out. After that i di t have any Other email from u.

I really dont have to use The smtp, i was just testo y it and till this momento i still get The sale result.

It could be that my products images issue? I just last night download and install a totally clean version, and still having the same problem.

Dont worry Dave (clickCraft) It seems that the problem in when I enter the SMTP information. lol

UPDATE

Example:
- If I just enable the SMTP WITHOUT adding the SMTP Information the template do not break.
- But if I enable the SMTP and then add my SMTP gmail information the the template breaks.

I tried with clean install at least 3 times and it always breaks if I enable the SMTP and add the SMTP gmail Information.

Can someone confirm? thx

The only thing I entered there was the gmail smtp info.

It sure is a strange one. Don't know what the db has to do with the template but as soon as I use that db backup, that happens. I even deleted the cart script and re-up a clean version and it work work fine till I use the previously backed up db.

But anyway, after a few hrs, and a clean start I'm back to normal. (I hope).

You can close this thread if you like, the problem was in the database, dont know what caused it but as soon as I clear the database and did a clean install the problem is gone.

Another funny thing is that the form does not sends out anything.

I did tried some codes from clickcraft ( a friend of mine from NJ ) maybe I did some wrong to the code, I can always blame it on him lol

Lol im still laughing my ass off. That was a misspelled word thx to my phone. I meant to type database.

Well I already started backing up what I e done so far in case I do have to start fresh again,.

Now, see if this makes sense to u... I installed a fresh version of the cart and restored it with a backup copy of the original database. Before I did that the form worked fine, but after the database restore, the form started doing the same thing.  Could it be something to do with the bats awe?

There is definitely something wrong, I most of done something stupid that most off mess up a template or something, At home if I use the contact me form (using Firefox) after I hit Summit the template breaks and there is a huge space bet the header and bod. anyway here is a pic

To me it makes no sense tht the entire website (templates) are center of the page, but after you sumit the contact form the page moved to the left. I'm not talking about the text, I'm talking about the templete. As I'm filing up the form, that page is in the center but as soon as I hit the sumit bottom the confirmation page that tells u that the form was successful send, that page or template what ever it is, shows on the left side of the screen not the center of the page.

I was just playing around with the store and I tried to use the contact form fo send me a message and after I sumited the form the page aligned to the left. I got some pic here.

Hey scarr105 [url=http://xtremehangout.com/store/]HERE[/url] is what Im working on, still not as I want it, but getting there, If u look, the store, right below the nav buttons, there is a kind of gray background color that i cant get rid off. I want it to be white so it blends with all the other white parts, but I cant find where to change it.
One other thing is that I have specify that the 'Welcome to my e-store' and the below other line, is white but the damm font comes out black lol Im sure it may have to do with the code i , added. Also for some reason there is more space between the nav and the actual cart, dont know why caz in my home-test-server its not like that. But I get it to where I want it, thx for your code. I have not done anything to the footer, at least not yet, but Im sure Ill use that code too, maybe later.

BTW remember Im just trying different things to the cart script, so its not live yet. once I get the look im looking for Ill start building the rest.

HI scarr105, please excuse my ignorance, I did copy/paste the code u gave me to the header, the only thing I didn't get was, what do I need to add or edit on the footer? do I copy the same code to the footer or what do I do to the footer?

OK scarr105 my url is xtremehangout.com/store i dont think I had enable the Search Engine friendly URLs because I have not done anything to the cart script, meaning is intact as i installed it on the server. I have not have the time to work on it, This is a e-store Im setting up for my wife so she can sell woman's stuff, but she is not ready as of yet, so im just getting familiar with it, before i take it live.

update: i dl ur new updated sold_item and it works perfectly thx scarr105. really appreciate i love how it works. I now have to work on some kind of header and footer lol l get it going sooner or later. thx again

Update 2 lol: two thing I noticed, if u uncoment the show price, it dont show the $ sign and if you uncoment the 'Click for Prices', you get a error page.

@ David, Can you make an included file version that can work from the outside of the store directory, Instead of using the index file with the actual heather and footer? Thx

Thx for the replay, gmail does requires authentication, but since i could not get it to work I disable the smtp.
