you can enable Mcrypt
if you're using a hosting service navigate to the php controls and activate Mcrypt
if you're on a dedicated server log in to terminal and install  the module then enable it

3 years have gone by and I now know how I'm going to use MMusic.
I've made edits to the style sheet and added a few pages and boxes.
I have 1 server dedicated to radio stations and MMusic is how 440Music will create our web presence for 14 sub-domains

are you using a hosting service, virtual host or dedicated server?
you will need the mail server address example: smtp.whatisyoururl dot com/net/org
you'll also need the port address a few of the common ports:

the need for volume control is so I can set it to 65% instead of 100%
why would I want to set the volume at 65%?
Simple when I hear a good song I want to turn it up and it is a pain in the but to go to the device and change the volume
Normalizing the volume would ab a nice add-on also

Volume control is very important to me also and when I find the answer looking for about custom pages and when I find the answer to volume, play, stop and pause I'll share my results.

I had Miain Music working and then realized I spelled the sub-domain name wrong and then did a fresh install which is now has errors on the home page.
The admin log-in works and error free

I've turn off rewrite and the same error
all ideas about the solution are helpful
I did a search for this error and haven't found an answer that has solved the error.

I changed PHP to version 7.4.30 and it is working without errors

forbidden message usually mean that you don't have permission to access the file and or directory. Files should be permission 644 or read execute
directories should be permission 755

in the _cfg.php file you can make the edits to the database login details
server = either the IP, localhost or some hosting service will have a separate database server and you'll need the exact address
my _cfg.php file looks like this, I've blocked password and user name

OK Installed CentOS7
made the edits to control/connect.php, admin/control/access.php and created the secure directory
When I launch the install it looks as if the install has stopped but after sitting for 5 minutes I web to the web site and low and behold it had installed.
I'm in the testing stage and I'm very hopeful because this is running on PHP7

have you checked the ownership and permissions on the directories?

I just found MMuisic today and thought it looked interesting.

I've been reading the docs and don't find recommendations for a dedicated server.
In a very short time I'm adding a 3rd server to my web site and I'm going to use it for testing this program. I've tried installing on my home server unsuccessfully so far, I'll get.

These are the server OS options:
Ubuntu18 Basic Server
CentOS7 Basic Server
Debian (don't remember the v)

Apache or nginx
PHP version
MySQL or Mariadb
mod-rewrite on or off
gstreamer, lame, FMP, curl ...
what is recommended after basic server install?
