Hi David -

I am trying to allow a TAB to the "City/State/Province" field during checkout in both the Billing Address and Shipping Address areas.
I tried to modify the "checkout.tpl.php" file adding a "tabindex" to the select field of what I think is the "City/State/Province" field.
The tab works fine when neither "United States" nor "Canada" is chosen and the field is simply a text box (the code that is already there).
But no code modifications I make to the "checkout.tpl.php" file do anything. In fact, I have renamed that file in all the themes I have, including the default theme, but it still shows up???  I am definitely missing something.  I know Ajax is involved but I am confused how the checkout code can function without this file. And, where can I find the code that makes up the "checkout.html" file? The one that is indicated when you go to click on the "Checkout and Pay" link or the "Basket" link in the top menu.

You have put an extraordinary amount of work into this cart David.  Bravo!

Thanks David.

I had made those changes but as I tried to indicate in the previous post the modifications I make to "checkout.tpl.php" do not take.
Or, at least I thought they did not because when I do a source display from the checkout page I can see that my changes are not there. However, checking the file on my server shows that the changes have been made.  That is why, for testing purposes and to see what was going on, I renamed every "checkout.tpl.php" file so that it basically does not exist.  That is the perplexing part because the checkout still functions, of course, without my tabindex modifications.  Hopefully I have clarified?

So Sorry!

It is because I did not make the changes in the "checkout-without-shipping.tpl" files. All is well. Apologies again.
