Hello David -

I am not always receiving emails sent via the contact form.

Background:
Say my domain is "AAA.com"
I have an add on domain "BBB.com" - this is where Maian Cart sits.

If I enter into the "E-Mail Address" field on the form an email like "someone@AAA.com" then it works. I get an email and so does "someone@AAA.com".

If I enter into the "E-Mail Address" field on the form any other email, like "someone@somewhere.com" or even "someone@BBB.com" I do not get an email nor does the sender get an email.

I have contact forms I have built on "AAA.com" that will work regardless of what is entered into an "E-Maill Address" field.

My host company has not been of any help yet as to why this is happening.  I am pretty sure they do not require any entries into SMTP for it to work.

Do you have any idea what may be the cause of this?  The "E-Mail Address" field just contains the email address itself that is used when sending an email to my Maian Cart site's email address, and to construct email back to the sender, correct?

Hello David -

Thanks. Yes, the host requires SMTP to be set now apparently.
Everything is fine now except when sending to a google email account.
If the "E-Mail Address" is entered with an "@gmail.com" then nothing gets sent to that address.
Doing some searching indicates that this is a problem that many others have encountered.
No real solution that I see yet.
Have you ever encountered this?

Thanks David,

It was a spam delivering problem.  I just plain missed seeing it.  Getting old I guess.
Again, you have been most helpful.
Have a good day, week, month and rest of the year!
