Hello David,
Need help in understanding why I am getting this error.
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /install/ on this server.
This is a new install. I have edited and uploaded site as per instructions. Enabled php but don't know which version I need to enable. Confused

Hi David
Here is what I have for a htaccess_COPY.txt. In another cart that I have installed the htaccess file needed to be renamed. I don't know if you remember but we had trouble installing the domain when I started with Maian Cart and wondering if this is the same problem?

Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
www.jewelry.treasured-finds.net

So I tried to check my access logs but I get a forbidden when I click on the website access logs.

Additionally I contacted my hosting people about this issue and this is what they are saying.
Hello,
Subdomains do not have the www alias in front of them. If you need this alias in from of the domain for the cart you would need to remove it as a subdomain and then add it as a website. The other option would be to turn off the www check in the maian cart installation script. I am not sure if this is an option within the script. You may want to reach out to them to see if you can turn off that check.

Not sure if this will help but maybe:
you can use .htaccess to automatically remove the "www" .
So you can then enter as the URL "jewelry.treasured-finds.net" instead of www.jewelry.treasured-finds.net .
