Fixing 404 ErrorPosts in the Maian Cart forum by zeldalee

Hello David,
I deleted a page, and it is causing a 404 error.  I contacted my hosting, and they said that Maian Cart has its own custom by default.  Can that file be edited?  If so where is it located?
Thanks so much
Zelda

Sorry, I don't understand Zelda. You deleted it and now it doesn't display? That is correct behaviour isn't it? Can you give me more info?

Hi David,
sorry for the confusion.  Yes for sure when I deleted the item and category.   I expected not to see it and to find a 404.  I was wondering if I could edit the 404 page to give a link to the site where I added the product and category again?  I hope this makes sense.  Or maybe it is not necessary.  I am worried about broken links
Thank you
zelda

Hi Zelda,

I'm not sure this is anything to worry about. You can edit the 404 page, but it's a standard template for all 404 links.

content/*theme*/error_pages/404.tpl.php
