Purchase TestPosts in the Maian Pal forum by zeldalee

Hello David,
I am trying to add product to cart to do a test to see if the cart is working right. I click on add to basket but nothing get added. The square icon just spins.
I am wondering. I am also trying to set up my payment gateway which is PayPal and the docs set up instructions don't match PayPals so having a hard time setting this up. I need your help please.

Yes, unfortunately the gateways keep changing their pages and layout. The setup will be the same as here:

Actually the Maian Pal docs are correct but getting to the IPN settings is different. So, follow the video above, but enter the Maian Pal callback url as mentioned in the Maian Pal docs. Example:
https://www.example.com/store/control/callback.php
If the IPN system is already active, you don't need to do anything.

Hello David,
I had a look at the video. Thank you . I also updated the php to php7.3.29 but still not able to add product to cart or even open the basket. IPN was already enabled as I have another site using Maian Cart 3.8 now. Site is still not able to test a purchase using sandbox.

Maybe an "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" issue ?
Like a site using "www" to access one not using "www" or vice versa.

please explain what you mean? If I go to the site just using the domain name .com it just reverts to www.

Hello -

The javascript message in the browser that shows the error is:

Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://jewelsohyes.com/index.php?ajax-ops=add&id=77' from origin 'https://www.jewelsohyes.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

So, it looks like a "www" address from the origin "https://www.jewelsohyes.com" is trying to access a non "www" site at "https://jewelsohyes.com/index.php?ajax-ops=add&id=77"

Might be related to how your .htaccess file is setup?

David can probably shed more light on this.

Yes, the issue is as mentioned above. The site is forcing www, but in your settings you don't specify www. You need to go into your Maian Pal settings and change the path from:
https://jewelsohyes.com/
to
https://www.jewelsohyes.com/
And that should fix the problem.

Magiccardpops, that worked a treat for me and my site. This is a first for me after being online since 2000.
