I have Maian Responder installed here: https://www.sportica.co.za/responder
I have setup the SMTP mail settings under System Options/Settings/SMTP as well as under the Campaign SMTP settings.

Have used the test mail option on both and no emails have been received and nothing has gone into spam. Also used the generated HTML post method code and created page to create capture user details, also no emails are being sent.
By the way i used gmail as the SMTP server!

I enabled logging for Subscribe/Unsubscribe and Imap / Mail. The log file for Subscribe/Unsubscribe has logged the user subscription but no email sent.
The log for Imap / Mail is empty, although the size of the log file says 10.85KB

I have had the responder system running on another domain for over a year now and that one works perfectly.

Not sure what is happening with this new installation: Version 2.2

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

For reference, the docs do make mention of this: (Important: DO NOT load the jQuery library if your website is already using it as this may cause conflicts!)

It does help if you read the docs thoroughly and not skim over them like i did

Hope you are well!

I added the Jquery links to the footer just above the closing body tag and also added the jQuery function in the footer. I then placed the div: <div id="mrAutoRespDiv"></div> in the content where i want the subscription form to show...

I receive the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).mrAutoResponder is not a function

Please can you assist.

When i logged in to the admin it told me that there was a newer version, so i downloaded it. But i noticed that there was no 'install/upgrade.php' file in the new version i downloaded.
So i ran the install again but i am receiving the following error:

The following encoding error has occured while running this software:
The "licence.lic" file within this installation contains an invalid product key (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).

Check this value against the product key on your purchase page in your script admin area.

This may be due to entering the key incorrectly on licence creation or you may have re-installed the software again, which created a new key.

If you have re-installed, please update your product key and re-download the licence again.

I tried to update the product key but it says no change. Also tried downloading and replacing the licence.lic file with the new one, also no luck.

Am i missing something here?

I see on the user front end there is a copyright link at the top of the page:

and in the admin section there is a copyright link at the bottom of the page:

Powered by: Maian Support  © 2005-2010 Maian Script World. All Rights Reserved.

The Free license blrub on the Maian Support website says the following:
The copyright link in the footer is required in the free version and this is enforced by software encoding.

Is this actually referring to the link at the top of the public page?

I tried to install Maian Support on my local system.

Wampserver 2.0
Apache 2.2.11
PHP 5.2.11 and 5.3.0

My problem is with the Source Guardian Ixed loader file not been found. I followed all the steps from the docs/source-guardian/sg-installer.php file......No luck.

I'm not getting strange errors only this one:
Script loading terminated. Ixed loader file not found! Encoded files cannot currently run on this server....

Have you or anyone successfully installed Maian support using WAMP?
