Maian Music v3.0 Released
We are pleased to announce the release of Maian Music v3.0. Some notes for this release: The minimum PHP version required to run Maian Music is now v7 for security. The new version officially supports the later PHP7 branches and PHP8. Maian Music now only supports Paypal, Stripe and Square payment gateways. Gateway callback urls have changed, so update your installations if you upgrade. Refer to the docs for the correct url. Maian Music v2.9 Released
We are pleased to announce the latest release of our music download system. This is mainly a maintenance release to fix some bugs and update some libraries. As some of you may know Payza is undergoing a legal investigation for illegal trading. Also please note that the min PHP version required to run Maian Music is now PHP5.6. Maian Music v2.8 Released
This update is now available. This fixes a couple of issues since the last version and adds support for the Stripe v3.0 API. Beginning September 14, 2019, PSD2 regulation will require Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) for many online payments made by European customers, to help reduce fraud. To ensure payments will not be declined, businesses will need to build an extra layer of authentication into online card payments, unless transaction-specific exemptions apply. If you use Stripe as your payment provider, you MUST update your installation before the deadline or else your payments may start getting declined. Maian Music v2.5 Released
We are pleased to announce the latest release of my music system. This update sees quite a few changes and new additions. If you are using Paypal you MUST install SSL for your music store before June 2018 when Paypal switch off callbacks to none secure websites. If you don’t install SSL and you use Paypal, your music store system will stop working in June. v2.5 of Maian Music assumes SSL is installed. Also, password storage has been changed in v2.5.
