Ok, I will take a look. Do you have any type of secondary overide file or like a child theme concept? I assume these will be over written in upgrades. Again, not a problem, I take notes and re enter, just making sure.

Ok. When we (as staff) are replying to a ticket within the system, where is it getting our 2 ips from? I am curious why it is picking up cloudflare for us when we save our reply. We are not using any cloudflare services or proxies. My assumption is that it should JUST be our current network isp IP, no?

Ok, no problem. I wanted to check to see if it was possible to have some type of staff/internal ticketing as well. We have made 2 new Visitor accounts which are alternative emails for us and doing it that way. It gets the job done with some limitations/differences we were thinking.

For each ticket there are reported IPs

For many of mine, I have 2 IPs mine and one for cloudflare, why would that be?

Hello.

This might not be the usual use case, but, we are using Support to help us also keep track of things we need to do or collaborate on.

The internal mail system is not what we want to use in this case, since we want the full features of the ticket system.

Is there a way to natively use Support in this manner to cut out some of these steps.

For example, now we have
Created an Internal Department
Create new visitor accounts for each of us (using the same email we use as staff)
create a ticket with the staff visitor account
turn off Email notifications
assign staff to both of us
Save
Use in the same way as an external ticket.

I am thinking the step I am concerned about is creating a visitor with the same email account as our staff accounts.

Suggestions?

Hello.

Is there somewhere in a config file that Check boxes defaults can be changed?

For example on Tickets we dont need the Ticket History. It seems I need to go into each ticket options tab and uncheck that

write to ticket history

There were a couple of others, I will take note next time I come across them, but, if there is a common place I could find these settings, Please let me know.

Ok, downloaded the script from your site today (6pm Chile time)

the db.php file has a size of 7803 and a date of march 25 09:22

I deleted the original db.php in the /control/lib directory
copied the new db.php
I deleted the log in /logs/
reset ownership etc
Filled out the details on the install/ page and all was ok but I still get the error logs/install-error-report.txt

which is

I found a previous message with this (and other errors) perhaps something to do with mysql and strict mode?

Never mind I figured it out. There are a few results that say there are up to five files to edit to turn off strict mode in ubuntu mysql. But I found on google a way to make one new file that does it.
Create the file /etc/mysql/conf.d/disable_strict_mode.cnf
Then add this to it and save.
[mysqld]
sql_mode=IGNORE_SPACE,NO_ZERO_IN_DATE,NO_ZERO_DATE,ERROR_FOR_DIVISION_BY_ZERO,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION

Any suggestions to troubleshoot?
